Rupert received a 1st class honors degree for his studies in Composition at The Royal Academy of Music, London, before working as an orchestrator and ghost composer for the late Hollywood film composer Michael Kamen. As well as orchestration and composing for film and album projects Rupert works as a producer / engineer. This year he produced and mixed a top 10 Gold UK album for Port Isaac’s Fisherman’s Friends and won a Classical Brit for best album of 2010 for his production and arranging on Only Man Aloud - Band of Brothers. Other albums this year include Lisbee Stainton - Girl on an Unmade Bed, Karl Jenkins - Stella Natalis, and Rhydian - O Fortuna.

Rupert’s recent work in film includes orchestrating and ghost writing the score for Mamma Mia the Movie and mixing the score for Control.

His live work includes: Musical Directing and arranging Lou Reed’s Berlin World Tour 2006-08, Musical Directing and arranging Echo and The Bunnymen Ocean Rain Tour 2008-09.

Rupert's songwriting and publishing is signed to Sony ATV UK.
